Wireless Networks

Deemrose Data Cabling supply and install wireless local area networks for schools and businesses. We will provide you with the best secure solution for your organisation. Whilst there are several advantages to installing a hard-wired solution, such as the increased security, reliability and data transfer speeds, we also understand our customers’ need for flexibility and convenience. With an ever-increasing range of portable devices capable of providing Internet access, we can provide you with a secure wireless local area network (WLAN) solution that will give you and your network users mobile connectivity to your network.

A wireless local area network links two or more devices, using wireless distribution, and provides a connection through an access point to the wider Internet. This gives your network users the mobility to move around within a local coverage area and still be connected to your network, a capability commonly referred to as Wi-Fi connectivity.

Wireless LANs have become increasingly popular and Wi-Fi is now an essential component of most organisations. Our experienced engineers will determine the best positions for your wireless access points, in order to maximise coverage. Connecting devices to your network is made possible via a wireless distribution system. This enables wireless interconnection of access points in your network.  It allows for your wireless network to be expanded, using multiple access points, without requiring a wired backbone to link them.

Our installation teams expertly install containment and cable management to ensure that your network cables are either hidden from view or seamlessly integrate with the aesthetics of your working environment.

Mini Trunking

We install mini trunking in various shapes and sizes, including three versions with a central dividing fillet. The body of the main mini trunking that we use is very strong and tough, allowing it to deal with irregularities in wall and ceiling surfaces with relative ease. The useful clip-on lid can be easily removed by our installers, making it much easier for future maintenance or future alterations to the cabling system that may be required. The containment takes on a self-fixing form, with double-sided adhesive tape, again assisting our installers throughout installation.

Maxi Trunking

The maxi trunking that we install is lauded by consulting engineers and electrical contractors for its inherent safety, strength and durability. The clip-in cable retainers cannot physically slip out of place and there are dividers available that will provide segregation where required. The moulded flat angles of our maxi trunking have a gentle radius to ease the path of installation round corners.

IP Cameras

Working alongside our trusted audio-visual subcontractors, we can provide a complete supply & installation service for your organisation’s digital surveillance system. Modern private and public sector organisations are now installing Internet Protocol (IP) cameras  into their buildings to protect their assets.

The IP camera is a type of digital video camera commonly used  for surveillance. IP cameras send and receive data via computer networks and the Internet. They operate off two-way audio via a single network cable allowing the user to communicate with what they are seeing.

IP cameras can be moved around anywhere on an IP network. This is in part because modern IP cameras can operate without an additional power supply, an ability known as Power over Ethernet (PoE). The IP cameras work with the PoE protocol, which gives power via the ethernet cable. This flexibility, coupled with their ability to transmit data securely over a wireless network, makes IP cameras a very useful and increasingly relevant tool for schools, local authorities and modern businesses.
